Good questions.
Does Patchtime tell me how to patch?
No. Patchtime doesn’t suggest, calculate or change patch plans. You enter the plan you received from your eye care professional — Patchtime helps you follow it, remember it and keep a record of it.
Is Patchtime a medical app?
No. Patchtime is an organizer and reminder — think of it as a calendar made for patch plans. It isn’t a medical device and doesn’t give medical advice. For any questions about the plan itself, please talk to your eye care professional.
Do I need an account?
No. You can use Patchtime entirely on your device, without signing up. An account is only needed if you want to sync across devices or share a person with others.
What if a day is missed?
Mark the day as skipped. For repeating plans you choose what happens next: repeat the missed patch, so the sequence stays intact, or simply continue with the next step. Weekday plans stay as they are. Patchtime never decides this for you.
Left from whose point of view?
Some people say “left” and mean the left eye of the person being patched. Others mean the eye on the left as they look at them. In Patchtime you pick the way you think — and every schedule, label and picture follows it.
Can I use Patchtime for more than one person?
Yes. Add as many people as you like, each with their own schedules, calendar and record.
Is Pro a subscription?
No. Patchtime Pro is a one-time purchase. Pay once, keep it — no renewals, no surprises.
Which devices does Patchtime run on?
Patchtime is available for Android and in your web browser. An iOS version is coming soon.
Where is my data stored?
Without an account, your data stays on your device only — encrypted. If you sign in, your data is synced to our servers, run with carefully selected service providers under data processing agreements. You can find all details in our privacy policy.
